Forth Arts & Aerial Collective

Empowerment through movement and creativity
Forth Aerial Collective is formed of artists working across aerial dance, movement, visual arts and theatre, all with an interest in using aerial and creativity as tools for empowerment, connection and resilience. Our sessions are trauma informed and focus on well-being.
We work with women and non-binary folks in the Forth Valley, projects are open to folks of all ages (18+), sizes and levels of fitness. No prior experience in aerial or other art practices is required. All of our projects are fully funded and we can support participants with travel, childcare or other access costs.
I feel like I have gone back to childhood. It’s actually quite emotional. It took me back to a time of innocence when I had this swing which I loved and this made me feel the same freedom
It was very important to me that the sessions were advertised as trauma informed. It meant I felt comfortable coming along. I liked how I was able to reconnect with my body. It felt like a release. I feel tired but in a good way, like I am full of energy
